This specimen was lot 21341 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "RAGUSA. Taler, 1748. NGC MS-62. Dav-1637; KM-17. A wonderfully preserved example, from a region where crown size silver coins are generally difficult to obtain in mint state condition. This piece bears fewer and less obtrusive adjustment marks than most, those here being confined to the arms on the reverse. Additionally, the strike is quite full and on lustrous metal. One of only a handful of Ragusa Talers to be certified as mint state and a great addition for collectors of this region." type struck 1738, 1743-48; 1748 a better date, VF $300.
