This specimen was lot 30293 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $11,750. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Highly Attractive Issue of Pomerania. Christina of Sweden Taler 1642, Stettin mint, Ahlström-16, bust with curly locks, KM 193.2, Dav-4573, MS63 NGC. A choice piece with gold and gray patina, one tiny natural edge flaw at 10 o'clock on the obverse. The bust is quite boldly struck and the overall eye appeal is excellent. Highly elusive in mint state. This piece has that old-time cabinet feel. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman / B.G. Johnson."
