This specimen was lot 1774 in Sincona sale 38 (Zurich, May 2017), where it sold for 8,500 CHF (about US$10,194 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Danzig, Stadt, Dukat 1682. Titel Johann III. Sobieskis von Polen. 3.48 g. Dutkowski/Suchanek 373 IIa. Fr-24. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. Leicht gewellt. (city of Danzig, ducat of 1682, in the name of John III Sobieski of Poland. Very rare in this condition. About uncirculated. Lightly wavy planchet.)"
