This specimen was lot 31501 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $18,000. The catalog description[1] noted, "Thorn. Sigismund III Vasa gold Ducat 1630 I-I AU50 PCGS, Thorn mint, KM 19, Fr-55, Kop-8267 (R7). A seldom seen issue, this charming ducat clearly only saw the slightest degree of gentle handling, as a great deal of detail still remains, along with a hint of underlying luster. The strike is even, and it presents as an overall attractive representation of the type. For completeness, some marks and hairlines are evident in front of Sigismund's beard, but are not overly distracting. The only other example which this cataloger could locate was a fairly choice uncertified specimen realizing a hammer of €50,875 (over $72,000 at the time) in early 2011."

1630-HL, 1630-II, both very rare.
