This specimen was lot 30380 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Stanislaus August gold Ducat 1792-EB MS61 NGC, Warsaw mint, KM 210, Fr-104. A delightful specimen featuring the bust of Stanislaus Augustus with luminous, yellow-gold color and a tremendous amount of original mint bloom. Evidence of light handling, as well as a slight bend to the flan are noticeable; however, this is a scarcely encountered issue that is virtually unseen at any level, making this current selection--which also happens to be the only certified mint-state example of this date--a fantastic representative and a rare find."
