This specimen was lot 25486 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,762.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "German Occupation Proof Fenig 1917-F, KM-Y4, Fischer-ON-004, PCGS Proof, Genuine, UNC Details (environmental damage), an exceedingly rare date, still unlisted in the SCWC. The surfaces are oxidized but retain a flashy mirror-like quality. An important rarity in the Polish series, and the first we have seen."
