This specimen was lot 24608 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. 4 Reales, 1810-JP. Lima Mint. PCGS Genuine--Plugged, VG Details Secure Holder. KM-105.2; Cal-Type 208 #738; Pa-389. VERY SCARCE type. Local 'Imaginary' portrait of Ferdinand VII. Pierced and repaired at twelve o'clock, surfaces show evidence of extended use in suspension. Toned. Ex: Stack's Bowers & Ponterio 6/2011 sale, lot # 8445."
