This specimen was lot 25454 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold 8 Escudos 1832-VoArSh Cuzco, KM 148.2, AU58 NGC, boldly struck features with no flan problems and virtually full mint luster, an exceptionally nice example of this early Republic 8 Escudos."
