This specimen was lot 39287 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it sold for $329. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Piastra, 1675. Clement X (1670-76). NGC AU Details--Mount Removed. Dav-4080; KM-370; Berman-2003. Jubilee year issue depicting the Holy Door, made of bricks and opened with a silver hammer by the Pope every 25 years to celebrate the jubilee. Scant evidence of mount removal, confined to the edge of the coin at 12 o'clock and nicely concealed by the holder. Exceptional amounts of remaining detail, with no stains or other detriments. A very presentable example of this always in demand coin. Pedigree: From the Thomas P. Warfield Collection."
