This specimen was lot 31418 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "Overijssel. Provincial gold Imitative 1/4 Flemish Noble 1585 AU55 NGC, Overijssel mint, Fr-265a, Delm-1041. MO | NE • NOV • AVRE • ORDIN • TRANSISS | VLANIÆ • , king standing in ship facing, holding sword and shield, a flag bearing a lion at the stern / (Lion mm) NISI • TV • DOMINE • NOS • SERVA VERIS • FRVSTRA • 85 •, cross fleurée with lions passant and crowns in angles. Incorrectly labeled as 1583 on the holder. An extremely rare denomination to find of this series. Despite a slightly wavy flan, the metal quality is firmly above average for this imitative type, and the strike outstanding. Bright original surfaces slightly muted via a light patina, a seldom-seen and collectable offering."
