This specimen was lot 30567 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Newfoundland. Victoria gold 2 Dollars 1872 MS61 NGC, London mint, KM 5. Mintage: 6,050. A notable key that is highly demanded at the Mint State level, showcasing original mint luster mixed with moments of darker tone that decorates the legends. Detailing throughout the designs appears strong--particulary atop the Queen's hair--while the surrounding fields contain only trivial flyspeck marks which are commensurate with the grade. A challenging coin to acquire so fine, and one that is sure to interest high-end collectors of this elusive issue."
