This specimen was lot 1164 in Jean Elsen sale 138 (Brussels, September 2018), where it sold for €4,200 (about US$5,791 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, Koninkrijk, Willem III (1849-1890), 5 gulden (halve Willem of halve negotiepenning), 1851. Sch-548; Fr-341. Zeer zeldzaam Minieme krasjes. Met gepolijste stempels geslagen. bijna Fleur de Coin. (kingdom of the Netherlands, William III, 1849-90, five gulden of 1851. Very scarce proof.)"
KM 94, 3.36 g, .900 fine gold, 18.5 mm diameter, m. 10,000, struck 1850-51.
