This specimen was lot 41252 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $6,900. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Ducaton, 1729. Dordrecht Mint. NGC EF-45. Dav-417; KM-71; Scholten-22 (RRRR - Utmost Rarity). Attractive quality for this EXTREMELY RARE date, displaying a near complete strike with soft tone in the fields and surfaces that reflect typical circulation with a number of small handling marks and a touch of softening on the highpoints. An important coin for the specialist, with only a single other example of the date appearing in archived auction results. That piece, part of the Joseph R. Lasser collection sold by CNG in 2015 for $7,500 hammer, was slightly sharper on the highpoints, but displayed some edge roughness that may have resulted in a "details" grade if certified. From the Collection of Dr. James Eustace Bizzell, II."

KM 71, 32.78 g, .941 fine silver, struck in Holland 1728-33, 1738-41, a scarce type. KM 71a, gold, KM 130.1 struck in Westfriesland 1728, 1737-41; KM 151, struck in Zeeland 1728, 1737-41, KM 95.1, struck 1737-38, province not mentioned; KM 51, struck in Gelderland 1738-40, KM 110.1, struck in Utrecht 1739-40; KM 133, struck in Westfriesland 1742, 1748-51.
