This specimen was lot 630 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $145.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "MALAY ARCHIPELAGO, Colonial. Nederlands-Oost-Indië (Netherlands East Indies). William I. 1815-1840. AR 1/2 Gulden (23mm, 5.42 g, 6h). Utrecht mint; muntmeestertekens: torch and winged caduceus. Y.D.C. Suermondt, mintmaster. Dated 1826. KM 302; Cr 73; Scholten 618. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 62. Medium gray patina over all surfaces. One year only type." 5.38 g, .893 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, mintage 516,700. type struck 1826-27, 1834.
