This specimen was lot 708 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $1,331. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS, Kingdom. Trade coinage. AV Ducat (20 mm, 3.49 g, 12h). Utrecht mint; muntmeestertekens: lis and winged caduceus. P.C.G. Poelman, mintmaster. Dated 1840. KM 50.1; Cr 85; Schulman 225. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Lovely lightly patinated choice BU, a superb coin. Very low mintage. Highest ever graded. Ex Schweizerische Bankverein 19 (26 January 1988), lot 2599." mintage unknown, all Russian, better date.
