This specimen was lot 22624 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Nassau. Gulden, 1840. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details Secure Holder. KM-64; J-49. In 1866, the duchy was swallowed up by Prussia and the coinage ended, though one branch of the family now occupies the throne of the Netherlands. Flashy and attractive despite light hairlines over the surfaces. As a type, seldom appearing in American sales."

10.6 g, .900 fine silver, .306 oz, m. 116,514, struck 1840-47, 1855 and common.
