This specimen was lot 41102 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $4,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Mysore. 2 Rupee, AM 1215, Year 5 (1801). Patan Mint. PCGS EF-45. KM-127. Date in retrograde. Sharply detailed and well centered with dark gray toning. SCARCE and highly sought as a larger denomination. From the Collection of Dr. James Eustace Bizzell, II."
