This specimen was lot 20518 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Munster. Taler, 1706. Friedrich Christian von Plettenberg (1688-1706). NGC EF-45. Dav-2465; KM-136. Sede Vacante issue. Elaborate depiction of the cathedral in Munster, with the name of the town in German literally meaning "monastery"; Reverse: Shield with Saint Paul below. Moderately toned with deep blue, rose and amber color. A terrific amount of remaining detail and sporting a fair amount of luster for the grade." VF $450. Dav-2464 also for 1706. last thaler 1761.
