This specimen was lot 21362 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1832-DoRM. NGC MS-61. Fr-68; KM-383.3. Nearly fully prooflike in the fields with impressive detail remaining within the hand over book and distinct Durango eagle motifs. Tied with two other examples for the finest graded at NGC."
