This specimen was lot 22764 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1917-Mo. PCGS AU-55 BN Secure Holder. KM-422. SCARCE low mintage year. Sharply struck, some light wear to tips of wings and legs but mostly undisturbed. Toned and even chocolate brown throughout. Tied with one other example as the finest certified. Worth close consideration for the collector of early twentieth century coppers."
