This specimen was lot 43511 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. War of Independence. Chilpanzingo. 4 Reales, ND. NGC VERY GOOD-10. KM-unlisted denomination. Chilpanzingo type A countermark, hand holding bow and arrow between quiver with arrows, sword and bow, on a cast silver 1809 4 Reales. VERY RARE denomination. Host coin crude, countermark unevenly applied. A wholesome example with a nice look. Lightly toned and attractive. Countermark FINE; Host coin."
