This specimen was lot 31087 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $5,170. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand VI gold Escudo 1750 Mo-MF AU55 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM 115.1, Cal-215. A lustrous and well detailed coin, with slight high-point friction defining the designation, only scattered unoffensive contact marks and strong luster in the fields. Rare and very desirable in this charming quality; quite a remarkable representative for this very scarce issue. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins."
