This specimen was lot 31036 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $4,935. The catalog description[1] noted, "Philip V gold 2 Escudos 1745 Mo-MF AU53 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM 124, Cal-372. Quite lustrous with very attractive reddish tone and only limited high-point wear, as expected for the designation. Another elusive date missing in Norweb, Gerber and Eliasberg and rare in this charming preservation. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins."
