This specimen was lot 31033 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "Philip V gold 2 Escudos 1742 Mo-MF AU Details (Damaged) NGC, Mexico city mint, KM 124, Cal-368. Slightly bent planchet, yet well detailed and retaining good mint luster. An affordable example of this rare type, the date also rare and absent from the Norweb, Gerber and Eliasberg groups. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins."
