This specimen was lot 31030 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Philip V gold 2 Escudos 1740/30 Mo-MF AU50 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM 124, cf. Cal-366 (unlisted overdate). Highly lustrous with limited high-point wear and only the expected handling marks for the assigned grade. A pleasing and attractive representative of this scarce type. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins."
