This specimen was lot 30862 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,350. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carlos III gold 2 Escudos 1761 Mo-MM, KM 128, Fr-27, VF Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC. The 'Surface Hairlines' refers to very light marks in the right obverse field. There is also a visible scrape on the reverse through the A of MAGNA into the Crown. A very rare, two-year type with the small bust and short wig."
