This specimen was lot 30851 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $381.88. The catalog description[1] noted, "Felipe V gold Escudo 1742 Mo-MF, Fr-11, KM 113, XF Details (Obverse Scratched) NGC. The "Scratched" part of the grade refers to a single scratch in the right obverse field near Philip's mouth. Otherwise the surfaces are free of imperfections and the details bold."
