This specimen was lot 773 in Jean Elsen sale 135 (Brussels, December 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, METZ, Ville, AV florin d'or au saint Etienne, à partir de 1415. 2e type. D/ Saint Etienne deb. à g. dans une mandorle, ten. une pierre et une palme. A d., un annelet. R/ Ecu de la ville dans un polylobe cantonné d'annelets. Flon 518, 11; coll. Robert 741 var. 3,30 g Rare Légère double frappe. presque Très Beau. (France, city of Metz, gold florin of St. Etienne, second type, after 1415. Obverse: the saint stands to left in a mandorla, holding a stone and a palm frond; reverse: arms of the city in a polylobe cantonned with pellets. Rare, lightly doulbe struck, about Very Fine.)"
