This specimen was lot 1015 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,483 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"MECKLENBURG, MECKLENBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1348 HERZOGTUM. Albrecht VII. 1503-1547. Taler 1543, Gadebusch. Dav. 9544; Kunzel 41 B/a. Sehr schön. Exemplar der Slg. Bernhard Terletzki. Erworben im März 1974 von Dr. Walter Kimpel, Düsseldorf. (duchy of Mecklenburg, Albrecht VII, 1503-47, thaler of 1543, Gadebusch mint. Very fine.)"
