This specimen was lot 30883 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mainz. Anselm Franz Freiherr von Ingelheim Taler ND (c. 1680) MS62 NGC, Dav-5567. Struck on the Peace of Nijmegen featuring the Archbishop-Elector of Mainz on the obverse and a fully illustrative reverse that depicts the hand of God extending from the clouds, holding a scale with an olive branch on one end and a sword on the other. Complete with resplendent color that covers both sides, along with bold detailing and original luster that have survived due to tremendous care. Despite the date on the insert, most references attribute this coin to 1679."
