This specimen was lot 386 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,292 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Magdeburg, ERZBISTUM Christian Wilhelm von Brandenburg, 1598-1608-1631. Reichstaler o. J. Halle. Dav-5492; v. Schr. 447. Von großer Seltenheit. Min. Korrosionsspuren im Randbereich, Schrötlingsriß, vorzüglich. (archbishopric of Magdeburg, Christian William of Brandenburg, 1598-1608-1631, thaler without date, Halle mint. Of the greatest rarity, spots of corrosion, edge cracks, extremely fine.)"
