This specimen was lot 549 in Jean Elsen sale 138 (Brussels, September 2018), where it sold for €170 (about US$236 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"LIEGE, Principauté, Jean Théodore de Bavière (1744-1763), Cu 4 liards, 1751. D/ Ecu écartelé de Bavière couronné et placé sur une crosse et une épée en sautoir. R/ Cinq écussons disposés en croix: Looz, Hornes, Bouillon et Franchimont autour de Liège. Chestret 689. 15,53 g Frappé sur flan épais. Rare dans cette qualité. Superbe. (prince-bishopric of Liege, John Theodore of Bavaria, 1744-63, copper four liards of 1751. Obverse: quartered crowned arms of Bavaria over a cross and a sword; reverse: five shields arrayed in a cross; Loos, Hoorn, Bouillon and Franchimont around Liege. Struck on a polished flan, rare in this quality, extremely fine.)"

KM 159, copper, 29 mm diameter, struck 1750-52. also plaquette, 2 liards, liard.
