This specimen was lot 1302 in Jean Elsen sale 117 (Brussels, June 2013), where it sold for €_ (about US$_ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LIEGE, Principauté, Maximilien Henri de Bavière (1650-1688), AR ducaton, 1677, Liège. Différent: perron. Droit: B. à droite, coiffé d'une calotte. Revers: Ecu couronné, soutenu par deux lions. Chestret-641; Delm-473; Dengis, 1105. 32,28 g. Belle patine. Très Beau. (Principality of Liege, Maximilian Henry of Bavaria (1650-88), silver ducaton of 1677, Liege mint. Obverse: bust to right in cap; reverse: crowned arms supported by two lions. Nice toning, very fine.)"
