This specimen was lot 3661 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €7,500 (about US$10,109 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"JÜLICH-KLEVE-BERG, BERG, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1380 HERZOGTUM, Wilhelm II. 1360-1408. Goldgulden o. J. Münzstätte wahrscheinlich Mülheim. 3.52 g. Fr-1376; Noss 77 a. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Attraktives Exemplar, fast vorzüglich. (duchy of Julich-Cleve-Berg, William II, 1360-1408, undated goldgulden, probably Mulheim mint. Very rare, attractive example, about extremely fine.)"

only gold coin of this ruler. rare. William II was count of Berg 1360-80 and duke of Berg 1380-1408. another William II was duke of Julich 1361-93. Rainald IV was duke of Guelders (Gelderland) 1402-23.
