This specimen was lot 1111 in Sincona sale 50 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 2,500 CHF (about US$3,016 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Sultan Ahmad Shah, 1327-1344 AH (1909-1925). 2 Tomans 1331 AH (1913 AD). 5.61 g. KM - (vgl. Pn38). Fr. - (vgl. 83 a). Von grösster Seltenheit. Fast FDC. Bei den Stücken des Jahres 1331 AH handelt es sich vermutlich um Probeprägungen, die in der Münzstätte Brüssel hergestellt wurden. (Sultanate of Iran, Ahmad Shah, AH 1327-1344, two tomans of AH 1331. Of the highest rarity, About uncirculated. This piece and others of the same date are likely samples from the Brussels mint.)"
