This specimen was lot 33252 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $564. The catalog description[1] noted, "British India. George VI Proof 1/4 Rupee 1947-(b) PR64 PCGS, KM 548. Currently the only example certified by PCGS, and thus likely to draw significant interest. Sharp detail and shimmering luster."
KM 548, struck 1946-47, 2.9 g, nickel, reeded edge. m. 109,948,000 + proofs. Last issue of the Raj.
