This specimen was lot 6740 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $423. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Taler, 1740-KB. Kremnitz Mint. Charles VI. NGC AU-58. Dav-1062; KM-310.2; Huszar-1606. Well struck example of the final year of type with loads of detail throughout bust and eagle. Within open fields and protected areas considerable original luster winking out from beneath pleasing old cabinet toning showing hues of royal blue and golden orange. A very handsome classical looking example."
