This specimen was lot 6722 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $423. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 1/4 Taler, 1631-KB. Kremnitz Mint. Ferdinand II (1619-37). NGC AU-55. KM-71; Huszar-1189. Only light wear to the highest points of relief which is remarkable given that fractional silver such as this would have seen extensive circulation. A good strike with nice relief to the portrait, some doubling can be found. Nicely toned a medium gray with considerable strong remaining luster. From the Mezo-Toth Kalman Collection."
