This specimen was lot 1101 in Sedwick sale 25 (Winter Park, FL, May 2018), where it sold for $714. The catalog description[1] noted, "Honduras, 50 centavos, 1879, Lovett type, NGC VF 35. KM-44. Deep and beautiful rainbow toning, somewhat crude strike with weak centers and minor rim-flaws (actually more like XF in our opinion), rare and popular one-year type designed by US engraver George Lovett (with very US coin-like features!). NGC #4715682-014."
KM 44, 12.5 g, .900 fine silver, only use of this design.
