This specimen was lot 41244 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. Chaise d'Or, ND (1428-33). Philippe le Bon (Philip the Good) & Jacquline of Bavaria (1428-33). NGC AU-53. Fr-121; Delm-741. 3.64 grams. A lightly circulated example of this very elusive type, with a strike that is approaching full and surfaces that are uniquely presented, exhibiting a two-tone appearance, the centers possessing rose coloration, while the legends are bright yellow."
