This specimen was lot 920 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,617 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOHENLOHE, HOHENLOHE-KIRCHBERG, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1764 FÜRSTENTUM, Christian Friedrich Karl, 1767-1806. 1/2 Konv.-Taler 1781, Schwabach. Albrecht 214. Kabinettstück. Prachtvolle Patina, fast Stempelglanz. (principality of Hohenlohe-Kirchberg, Christian Frederick Charles, 1767-1806, half convention thaler of 1781, Schwabach mint. Cabinet piece, gorgeous patina, about uncirculated.)"
