This specimen was lot 3325 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 340 CHF (about US$410 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hessen, Grossherzogtum, Ernst Ludwig, 1892-1918. 2 Mark 1899 A, Berlin. 11.09 g. J. 72. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Leicht berieben. (Germany, grand duchy of Hesse, Ernest Louis, 1892-1918, two mark of 1899, Berlin mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Slightly polished.)"
KM 368, 11.11 g, .900 fine silver, 27 mm diameter, m. 53,240 + 128 proofs. KM VF $600. struck 1895-1900.
