This specimen was lot 3588 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €6,500 (about US$8,761 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, Georg II. 1727-1760. Dukat 1739, Clausthal. Ausbeute der Harzer Gruben. Harzgold. 3,36 g. Münzmeister Christian Philipp Spangenberg. Gekröntes, vierfeldiges Wappen//Roß springt l. Fr-607; Müseler 10.6.2/36; Welter 2534. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Prachtexemplar mit feiner Goldtönung. Fast Stempelglanz. (electorate of Hannover, George II, 1727-60, ducat of 1739, Clausthal mint, for the Harz mines. Obverse: crowned quartered arms; reverse: stallion springs left. Very rare, prooflike with fine gold toning; about uncirculated.)"

KM 238, struck 1730, 1735-41, 1746, 1750, 1756 but rare. only ducat for 1739.
