This specimen was lot 633 in Jean Elsen sale 131 (Brussels, December 2016), where it sold for €__ (about US$___ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HAINAUT, Comté, Philippe le Bon (1433-1467), AV lion d'or, s.d. (1454-1455), Valenciennes. D/ Lion assis à g. sous un dais gothique, entre deux briquets. R/ Ecu de Bourgogne sur une croix fleuronnée. G.H. 3-3; Chalon 157; Lucas, Hainaut, 183; Delm. 303. 4,21 g Très fine fêlure du flan. presque Superbe. (county of Hainaut, Philip the Good (1433-67), gold lion d'or, undated, Valenciennes mint. Obverse: lion seated facing left under a Gothic dais between two jewels; reverse: Burgundian arms on a floriate cross. Minor planchet defect, about extremely fine.)"
