This specimen was lot 6579 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, 1816. PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder. S-3788; KM-667. Aptly named "Bull Head" bust. Nicely struck full detail down to the texture in the lining of crown and tie of order chain. Light gray toning pervades most of the surfaces with underlying luster peaking out around devices. Some light rose and moss green hues can be seen when rotated. Ex: Rye Collection."
