This specimen was part of lot 30919 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), which sold for $1,762.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "George III Four-Piece Maundy Set 1792, 1) Penny - MS64 NGC, S-3760; 2) 2 Pence - MS64 NGC, S-3757; 3) 3 Pence - MS64 NGC, S-3754; 4) 4 Pence - MS65 NGC, S-3751. A choice, one-year type set. All are perfectly matched, with bluish-gray patina. Possibly, the nicest set of this date we have seen with each example being the sole finest graded at NGC."
one year type for each denomination--KM 610, KM 611, KM 612, KM 613. Only issue between 1786 and 1795.
