This specimen was lot 29667 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "George IV Proof 1/2 Crown 1826 PR65 NGC, Royal mint, KM 695, S-3809. A charming coin with subtle cyan iridescence in the fields. Tied with four others for the finest graded by NGC. Certainly a piece to be prized by the collector of British silver. From The Law Collection."
