This specimen was lot 2711 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $481.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Fourpence, 1689 NGC MS63. S.3439. William and Mary, 1689-1694. I over first E in GVLIELMVS. Obverse, conjoined busts of joint monarchs. Reverse, crowned numeral. Brilliant mint state with full original mint luster. Possibly the finest Four Pence coin of this era we have seen. NGC graded MS-63."
KM 471.1 issued 1689-91 and 1694. common up to VF.
