This specimen was lot 24898 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $881.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "George III Proof 18 Pence 1811, Laureate Bust in Armor, S-3771, KM-Tn2, PR63 Cameo NGC, a choice example exhibiting bright reflective mirrors, bold details, and light silvery grayish gold iridescent toning. In its day, this was not called 18 Pence but rather "one and six." Very rare in proof state."
