This specimen was lot 24815 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria Proof Half Quart ND (1841), KM 1, PR66 BN NGC, exquisite quality and beautiful appearance, fully struck with deeply mirrored fields, and luxurious pinkish blue iridescence perfectly distributed on each side. A coiner's masterpiece, very rare in this condition. KM value is $1350. This wonderful specimen deserves to top that."
